Substance Abuse Professional Program (CDL)

 

The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) program evaluates workers who have violated a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol program regulation. 

 

The referral will receive an initial clinical assessment by a Certified SAP Counselor. The Certified SAP Counselor will provide a letter with the identified requirements directly to the Designated Employer Representative (DER). The Certified SAP Counselor may provide or make a referral for the person served to receive the identified services. The Certified SAP Counselor will provide the Follow-Up assessment and Return to Duty completion letter.
