Changing Plans

One last, but very important subject matter as it relates to high risk choices, is your plans. Studies have shown that just telling people to say no to drugs and giving them facts on why to do so is only half of the job.

The other pieces of the puzzle are well developed goals which assist making a plan for some changes. Many people at some point before they began using drugs had fun without drugs (and without as many negatives consequences); however, this can be difficult for people who begin using at a very young age to recall.

Even one’s group of friends can change over time as a person begins to use drugs. If you are not a regular user of alcohol or a different drug, please use your imagination and answer the questions below as best you can.
